<aside> 📌 Contracting is

🤝  Collaborative. The Ironclad Editor is a space to collaborate on a contract

🎯  Precise. Every change is tracked (even a comma) and facilitates conversations to clarify details

💰  Business-oriented. It integrates with the business process to get business done

The problem

Imagine you are a lawyer (lawyers work predominantly in Microsoft Word). But when you use the Ironclad digital contracting platform, you cannot make any document changes on the platform and you have to download the document to edit it, and then re-upload it to keep it tied to the contract workflow. Additionally, you also don’t have the ability to review contracts, suggest changes, accept or reject others’ changes, comment on the contract, etc.

Customer impact

⚡️ Point of friction. Users experienced constant back-and-forth between Ironclad and Word (or other editing tools).
